Thankful

Today and every day

For several years, I had four pet turkeys, and I loved them dearly, but today is probably not the day to reminisce about them. I do want to say that they followed me around like puppies, and would gobble on command, and often stood outside my office waiting for me, occasionally tapping on my window with their beaks, like impatient schoolchildren.
