I used to get a blow out before making an intimidating phone call to book Hollywood celebs! And this was before zoom! #It's how you look. COOL SHOES BTW!
When people say this, I always wonder … why would you not dry your hair at home? Surely it’s far more trouble to go get it done than to simply do it yourself?
Dear Susan (do you remember? we met at the Twitter offices all those years ago), your story fetched from my memory a similar story about a tradition for radio sports announcers to dress in nice suits even though the audience would never see them... the transferable idea was that we all dress to embody the performance we hope to give. (baseball reference: Walter “Red” Barber, Vin Scully). And this has triggered another memory of that marvelous book, Sex and Suits (Anne Hollander) that digs in a bit on the history of suiting... hope you are well, Buckhouse
Raise a glass to dressing up in life!! Went to NY Philharmonic last Friday night and was shocked at how people were dressed. Not that they weren't "Fancy". Shocked at how grubby people were . Life's too short, dress up a little!!
Have a fantastic time in that magical continent. How one is dressed does affect how one feels that does slow down or improve ones competence at any task. It matters.
I love my Onitsuka Tigers! I am on my third pair over 15 years. In London last year I was delighted to see they have a shop on Oxford Street. It was a lot more funny seeing all the pairs together as a family than buying one pair from a tiny selection on amazon!

The shoes are truly great!

Susan, I liked that sweater almost as much as I loved your enlightening and encouraging class. Thank you for two fantastic hours.
Oh, how wonderful! I’m so glad you joined, and enjoyed, the class!!
Ann Michaels forever ♥️🇨🇦

My appearance is of absolutely zero importance to me when I’m working from home. I’m definitely barefoot at all times unless it’s really cold.
Great post thanks.

Like you, how I wrap the Package makes all the difference in the world as to how I feel. ♥️ Safe travels, dear Susie
